1. Data controller
Ripal bv, with its registered office at Grote weg 138A, 8930 Rekkem, Belgium, is the controller for personal data collected via this site. You can reach us at info@ripal.be or +32 56 89 84 99.
2. Data we collect
When you contact us via a form, we process the data you provide: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message. For quote requests, technical data such as dimensions, weights, quantities and attachments may also be processed. When you visit the site, technical log files are generated for security and statistics.
3. Purposes
Your data is used only to answer your request, prepare a quote, open a commercial relationship, comply with our contractual obligations and, with your explicit consent, to inform you about our services. We never sell your data to third parties.
4. Legal basis
Processing is based on your consent, the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interest in providing and securing our services.
5. Retention
Contact data from one-off enquiries is kept for a maximum of 24 months after the last contact. Customer and invoicing data is kept for 7 years in line with Belgian accounting law. Technical logs are deleted within 12 months.
6. Sharing
Your data is only shared with service providers that help us run the site and our services, such as hosting, email and accounting. A data processing agreement is in place with each of these parties.
7. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including HTTPS, access controls and regular backups.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your data, and to object to it. Send your request to info@ripal.be. You can also lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority in Brussels.
9. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The most recent version is always published on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
